Coming Soon: A Boarding House for Paroled and Recovering Men
At Man Up God’s Way, we believe in second chances because we serve a God of redemption. Too many men leave prison or recovery programs with nowhere to go, no spiritual support, and no healthy direction for their lives. That is why we are preparing to open a boarding house for paroled and recovering men — a place where grace meets accountability and faith leads to lasting change.
The Vision
This future home will provide men with more than just a roof over their heads. It will be a safe, Christ-centered environment where they can rebuild their lives through discipleship, structure, and community.
- Daily Bible study and mentorship
- Job readiness and life skills training
- Accountability through local church involvement
- Access to counseling, recovery support, and fellowship
- A clear pathway toward independence and spiritual maturity
Our goal is not just to house men but to disciple them into godly manhood — to help them become leaders in their homes, churches, and communities
The Cost and the Plan
We are currently praying and planning toward the purchase or renovation of our first boarding house. The projected costs include
- Property Purchase or Lease: $150,000–$300,000 depending on size and location
- Renovations and Furnishings: $25,000–$50,000 for beds, kitchen equipment, and common areas
- Monthly Utilities and Maintenance: $2,000–$3,500
- Program and Staffing Costs: $4,000–$7,000 per month for oversight, mentoring, and materials
Altogether, the initial launch goal is approximately $200,000–$350,000 to secure and equip the home for long-term ministry use.
How You Can Help
We are asking for partners who believe in restoration — men and women who want to invest in changed lives.
- Provide housing for men rebuilding their lives
- Supply discipleship materials, food, and daily necessities
- Fund leadership and mentorship positions to guide these men spiritually
- A gift of $100 provides daily meals and supplies for one man for a week.
- A gift of $500 helps furnish a room.
- A gift of $5,000 moves us closer to purchasing the home.
Our Heartbeat
This vision isn’t about real estate. It’s about redemption. Every bed will represent a story of grace, every meal a step toward freedom, and every man a testimony of God’s power to rebuild what was once broken.
Together, we can open the doors to hope — one man, one home, one miracle at a time.
