Our local and national men’s events are designed to call men out of spiritual complacency and into a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. These gatherings create powerful moments of worship, biblical teaching, and brotherhood — and they come with real costs to make them possible.
What It Takes to Host an Event
Every event, whether a one-day conference or a full weekend experience, requires months of prayer, planning, and preparation. From securing venues to providing resources, every detail matters. Our goal is always the same: to create an environment where men can encounter God, build accountability, and be equipped to lead in their homes, churches, and communities.
The Cost of Materials
Each Man Up God’s Way event includes printed discipleship materials, event guides, and promotional products for attendees. Here’s what typically goes into one event:
- Participant Workbooks and Study Guides: $5–$8 per person
- Event Banners, Signage, and Displays: $500–$1,000 per event
- Apparel, Lanyards, and Giveaways: $300–$700 per event
- Media and Audio/Visual Equipment: $800–$2,000 depending on size and venue
Altogether, materials alone can range from $2,000 to $5,000 for a local event and $10,000 or more for a national conference.
The Cost of Advertising and Promotion
Getting the word out is crucial. To reach men across the country and draw them to these life-changing gatherings, we invest in:
- Digital Advertising (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube): $500–$2,500 per event
- Email and Print Campaigns: $300–$800 per event
- Video Production and Graphic Design: $1,000–$2,000 per event
- Travel and Logistics for Promotion Teams: $1,000–$3,000 per tour or campaign
Depending on the scale, total advertising and promotion costs can range from $2,000–$8,000 for a single event.
Merchandise and Event Sales
While we sell merchandise and charge minimal registration fees to help offset costs, these sales usually bring us to a break-even point at best. Our goal has never been profit; it has always been to reach men with the Gospel and provide resources that strengthen their walk with Christ. Every hat, shirt, or ticket sold helps us move closer to that mission, but it rarely covers the true expense of hosting these powerful gatherings.
