Jody Burkeen
Pastor Jody Burkeen is the Lead Pastor of Ignite Church and the founder of Man Up God’s Way, one of the largest men’s discipleship platforms on social media. With over two decades of pastoral ministry, Jody is known for his bold, biblical teaching that calls men to reject passivity, confront compromise, and live with conviction in an increasingly confused culture.
Holding a Master’s degree in Theology, Pastor Jody brings both depth and clarity to the Scriptures, teaching with a focus on obedience, spiritual leadership, and faithful perseverance. His messages are grounded in the authority of God’s Word and aimed at real transformation, not temporary motivation.

Joshua Broome has a radical story of redemption which gives him a unique perspective in today’s culture that God is using in a mighty way. Now over a decade removed from the darkness of being in the pornography industry for 6 years, that seemed inescapable, he now shares his story on podcasts, TV shows and stages worldwide about how he discovered both purpose and lasting freedom in Christ.
Equipped with an education in Christian Ministries from Liberty University, Joshua and his wife, Hope, have been married for 8 years and live in Dallas, Texas, with their four sons. His message is centered on the good news that no matter what you’ve done or what has happened to you, nothing can separate you from the love available to you in Jesus!

What are the ages for this retreat?
We encourage men to bring their son(s). Ages 16 and up are welcome to register for this retreat.
Is there a cancellation policy for retreats?
Yes, we have a cancellation policy in place. Details about cancellations, refunds, and any associated fees can be found while registering.
Can I come alone or is the retreat only for church groups?
Whether you come with a group from church or venture solo, prepare for an unforgettable time filled with community and connection.
What is included in the registration price?
The registration price includes lodging, meals, and a conference t-shirt. There are tables for merchandise. Please bring cash or a major credit card for those purchases.
Do I need to bring linens for the retreat?
Dorm-style accommodations, participants need to bring twin-sized bedding and a towel for showering.
What is the schedule like for a typical day during the retreat?
The daily schedule includes a mix of activities, teachings, praise and worship, breakouts, meal times, and free time. A detailed itinerary will be provided closer to the retreat date.
